NOTICE TO GARBAGE DISTRICT RESIDENTS

GRASS CLIPPING COLLECTION

The East Windsor Township Garbage District now collects grass clippings along with your regular garbage. Please put the grass clippings in plastic bags or containers that weigh no more than 50 pounds. Your cooperation in packaging your clippings in smaller bags will make collection proceed more efficiently and safely.

Bags should be left open and placed on the curb, not in the street. Bags of grass left in the street can block heavy summer rains from reaching the storm drains and cause localized flooding of streets.
