Union Transportation Trail Extension
TAKE NOTICE that on Wednesday June 3, 2020 at 6:00 p.m., East Windsor Township will hold a public information session via electronic means only, in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6, et seq., and Executive Order No. 103 issued by Governor Murphy on March 9, 2020 declaring a “State of Emergency and Public Health Emergency in the State of New Jersey,” in order to protect the health, safety, and welfare of our citizens while ensuring the continued function of the government.
The purpose of the public information session is for Township Officials and the Township retained engineer, Hopewell Valley Engineering, to present the community with preliminary concept plans, for the proposed approximatly3.5 mile grant funded Union Transportation Trail extension. The proposed Union Transportation Trail extension will begin at the current trail terminus in the Assunpink Wildlife Management Area in the area of Sharon Road and Old York Road, crossing over Old York Road, continuing through Township open space, passing over the New Jersey Turnpike at Windsor-Perrineville Road, then crossing over Woods Road and Conover Road and terminating at Airport Road near the intersection of Route 33.
