EAST WINDSOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE HOSTS NETWORKING AND BUSINESS AWARD EVENT ON WEDNESDAY, MAY 29 AT 5:30 P.M.

 EAST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP.    Mayor Janice S. Mironov announced that the East Windsor Township Economic Development Committee is hosting a Networking and Business Award Event on Wednesday, May 29 at 5:30 p.m. at the Township Senior Center (40 Lanning Boulevard).

The event is an opportunity for businesses to network with other businesses, as well as the Mayor and other local elected and appointed officials. There is no cost to attend, however, pre-registration is required, which can be done at the East Windsor website, https://www.east-windsor.nj.us/ . Light refreshments will be served.

The event program will include East Windsor Township presenting awards to local businesses that make special efforts to improve or contribute to the community. The categories of Township award recognition are Business Beautification, Community Service and Community Enhancement.

• Business Beautification - creating an attractive appearance, for, through landscaping, flowers, and other enhancements to their structures and site.
• Community Service - providing for community contributions and service.
• Community Enhancement - providing any community value added aspect related to their business, for example, extraordinary job creation, an unusual or special product or opportunity. Green and sustainable practices, for example, green products, energy conservation, reduction of waste and energy consumption are encouraged and will be given more weight.
