AUROBINDO BREAKS GROUND ON NEW 170,100 SQUARE FOOT BUILDING ON PRINCETON HIGHTSTOWN ROAD CAMPUS IN EAST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP

Mayor Janice S. Mironov and Council Members, along with Mercer County Executive Dan Benson, joined Aurobindo Chief Executive Officer Swami Iyer, Senior Vice President of Human Resources Theresa Perniciaro and other Aurobindo representatives, for a groundbreaking ceremony for the new 170,000 square foot building on the Aurobindo campus, a state-of-the art pharmaceutical manufacturing facility on Windsor Center Drive.

The new 170,000 square foot building will join the existing 606,620 square foot Aurobindo building constructed in 2016 and the previously acquired 43,000 square foot Patscenter building on the Company’s campus along Princeton Hightstown Road. The new Aurobindo facility will expand the single-stream manufacturing process of generic pharmaceuticals from manufacturing, to packaging, to shipping while maintaining the integrity between products and processes. Additional walkways, a patio and seating areas are being constructed, plus enhanced landscaping and berming with deciduous, ornamental and evergreen trees, to integrate the new facility into the existing campus. .
