East Windsor Township Releases Senior Services Directory

Mayor Janice S. Mironov announced that the Township was releasing a new and updated East Windsor Township Senior Services Directory.

Mayor Mironov stated, “The Directory was compiled and prepared by the Township Commission on Aging to provide an information guide for a better understanding and access to services and facilities in our area which are available for senior citizens. While the Directory is not intended to be all-inclusive, it does offer a beneficial listing of many of the available resources for senior citizens in this area for housing, medical insurance, home care, nutrition, transportation, education, recreation and employment opportunities. We appreciate the good work of the East Windsor Township Commission on Aging.”

Chairperson Ondina Jeffers stated “The East Windsor Township Commission on Aging is pleased to provide a current Senior Services Directory. Since our first Directory in 2002, our goal is and always has been to develop a network which provides our senior citizens with a resource that gives them access to supportive services and the many facilities available to them. It is our intention to have senior citizens living in East Windsor Township be happy, healthy, informed, and enjoy life in a community that cares.” Council Member John Zoller, Council Liaison added, “The efforts and contributions by the Commission on Aging members have made this booklet an excellent services resource for our senior community for housing options to medical services, and from transportation programs to nutrition information.”

Copies of the newly released East Windsor Township Senior Services Directory are available at the East Windsor Municipal Building, Township Senior Center, local libraries, and on-line at the Township websitewww.east-windsor.nj.us.

The current Members of the East Windsor Commission on Aging are Chairperson Ondina Jeffers, Susan Flaster, Gloria Golbert, Ina Heiman, Dilys Henninger, Sydelle Norris, Hash Shah, Caryl Schienvar, Andrew Sung, Deborah Thomas and Council Liaison John Zoller.
