East Windsor Township Recognizes 2014 Employees of the Year

East Windsor Township Mayor Janice S. Mironov recognized 2014 East Windsor Township Employees of the YearElizabeth Cellini, Recreation Director; William Broome, Driver/Laborer in Public Works, and Police Officer Paul Wille.

Elizabeth Cellini, Recreation Director since May 2013, has worked to increase local participation and to develop, improve and implement high quality community recreational opportunities including summer camps, post-school sessions, special sports programs, exceptional trips, and popular local events as family nights and the summer concert series, as well as enhance the Senior Center operations. Mayor Mironov’s proclamation states she, “is admired and respected by her co-workers for her knowledge, enthusiasm, dedication to her job and agreeable demeanor, can always be depended on to see projects through to completion, may be found in town hall early in the morning and late in the evening to ensure her job is done and done well, and is always available to assist her co-workers regardless of the task.”

William Broome, a public works employee since 1988, first in the sanitation division then the roads division, is highly skilled in all public works functions especially with leaf collection. Broome has so distinguished himself with his diligence, positive morale and enthusiasm that his co-workers have recognized his outstanding work ethic twice in five years, as he also received honor as 2009 Employee of the Year. Mayor Mironov’s Proclamation states we all, “respect and admire his positive attitude, his meticulous attention to his job responsibilities, and his willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty. He is always willing to help out, has an excellent work ethic, a strong team spirit and extraordinary dedication to the Township.”

Police Officer Paul Wille, who joined East Windsor Township in 2006, is currently assigned to the Uniform Services Division, Secondary Officer in Charge within his platoon, a Field Training Officer, an evidence technician and a certified CPR instructor. Mayor Mironov’s proclamation states he, “has a tremendous work ethic, has proven to be an outstanding role model for new officers, and has consistently displayed a positive professional demeanor, taking pride in his work and contributions to the East Windsor community. He is dedicated and conscientious, consistently demonstrating a positive and professional demeanor in interacting with the East Windsor community and a strong commitment to the Township, distinguishing himself as a substantial asset to East Windsor.”

Mayor Mironov presented the three Employees with Proclamations at a public ceremony, stating, “We are very proud of the outstanding service, excellent positive attributes and demonstrated commitment of our 2014 Employees of the Year.”
