A Place to Dance Opens on Route 130 North in East Windsor Township

Mayor Janice S. Mironov and Council Members joined dance director Melanie Jones to celebrate the grand opening of A Place to Dance. The 1,000 square foot facility is located on Route 130 South at the corner of Maple Stream Road.
Mayor Mironov stated, “A Place to Dance, conveniently located along the vibrant Route 130 business corridor, offers a variety of dance programs to people of all ages and abilities. The space has been renovated to provide an appropriate setting for all types of dance instruction and competitions.” Mayor Mironov continued, “Dance Director Melanie Jones brings many years of dance experience and instruction to East Windsor, including work at The Shore Ballet Company in Island Heights, Stage Door Dance Studio in Jamesburg and The School of the Arts in North Brunswick. Her extensive experience and enthusiasm for teaching are certain to make A Place to Dance a great dance venue for area residents.”
A Place to Dance is an award winning dance studio, directed by Melanie Jones, which offers classes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, pointe and musical theater, as well as recreational and competition teams. According to A Place to Dance, "all programs are based upon a fun, student centered curriculum designed to teach a love of the art of dance.
