East Windsor Township Mayor Janice S. Mironov to Present State of the Township Address at MIDJersey Chamber of Commerce Luncheon Wednesday, May 7

Mayor Janice S. Mironov and the East Windsor Chapter of the MIDJersey Chamber of Commerce are pleased to announce that East Windsor Mayor Janice Mironov will deliver the annual State of East Windsor Township Address on Wednesday, May 7 at a luncheon event at the Holiday Inn East Windsor, located at 399 Monmouth Street, East Windsor.
Mayor Mironov’s annual address will include a report on accomplishments in 2013 as well as Township goals for this year. Mayor Mironov’s topics will include developments along Route 130 including the revitalization of Windsor Center, other commercial development updates, Township recreation and open space projects, local roadway improvements, budget and fiscal subjects, and other local topics of interest. The Mayor also will provide an update on the widening of the New Jersey Turnpike at Interchange 8, as well as discuss the East Windsor “Exit 8 Transportation and Development Study”, a project funded by a $100,000 Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission grant.
Mayor Mironov stated, “East Windsor has undertaken several projects and studies to ensure that we continue with active progress in achieving our goals for positive business growth and economic development within our community. I look forward to sharing our achievements and future plans with the local business community.” MIDJersey Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Robert Prunetti stated, “Over the past several years, East Windsor Township has been a leader in driving positive economic change to our region under Mayor Janice S. Mironov’s leadership. This annual luncheon is an ideal opportunity for the business community to hear first-hand from Mayor Mironov about projects that lie ahead for East Windsor Township.”
East Windsor offers businesses advantages including a central location in New Jersey with quick access to Exit 8 of the New Jersey Turnpike and to Interstate Routes 195, 295 and Route 1. There is also a wide variety of attractive well valued commercial, office and industrial sites at in the Township as well as a diverse and highly skilled work force. The major development corridors in the Township are the Routes 571/535 campus corridors, the Route 130 retail corridor and the NJ Turnpike/Route 33 corridor with both commercial and retail areas.
Networking begins at 11:30 a.m., followed by lunch at Noon. The program begins promptly at 1 p.m. All businesses and interested members of the community are invited to attend. The cost of this luncheon is $40 per member paying in advance and $45 per member paying at the door. The future member rate is $55.
