East Windsor Township Recognizes 2013 Employees of the Year

East Windsor Township Mayor Janice S. Mironov recognized 2013 Employees of the Year: Susan Malec, Public Health Nurse/Health Educator, Raymond Thompson, Driver/Laborer in Public and Police Sergeant Christopher Jackson.

Susan Malec, who began her career with East Windsor Township over 18 years ago as a Public Health Nurse/Health Educator, is the primary resource for public health and education and coordinates a myriad of public health services including children’s health clinics, elderly clinics and flu shots. Mayor Mironov’s Proclamation states, “Susan Malec displays an outstanding work ethic . . . and has established an outstanding relationship with residents, patients and Township staff for her consistently pleasant, patient, tender, caring, respectful demeanor and is always willing to go beyond in serving the community.”

Raymond Thompson, who began his career with East Windsor Township in 1998, serves as a Driver/Laborer in the Sanitation Division of the Department of Public Works. He is highly skilled in all public works functions especially in the operation of snow plow equipment. Mayor Mironov’s Proclamation states, “Raymond Thompson is always anxious to learn new skills and the operations of new equipment, and his “positive attitude, skills and dedication have created a positive work environment for all employees and residents.”

Police Sergeant Christopher Jackson, who joined the East Windsor Township Police Department on June 6, 1996, is currently assigned as the Traffic Safety Unit Supervisor. Mayor Mironov’s proclamation states, “Sergeant Christopher Jackson displays a can-do attitude and is frequently relied upon for his insight and expertise in the resolution of various complicated and involved traffic related matters throughout the Township. He has proven to be a competent and capable police supervisor who takes great pride in his performance and continues to improve his skills through advanced training and education at every opportunity.

Mayor Mironov presented the three Employees with Proclamations at a public ceremony, noting, “We are proud of the special efforts and high level of dedication displayed by these three outstanding employees. They are extraordinary valuable assets in our municipal family of employees.”
