East Windsor Township Encourages Residents to Sign up for E-News Updates

Mayor Janice S. Mironov reminds and encourages residents to sign up forEast Windsor Township E-News Updates. This municipal system is used for communication alerts during emergency situations and for serious weather conditions. Throughout the year this service, generally sent 3 to 4 times a month, disseminates e-mail notification of municipal news about new businesses and stores, roadway projects, grants and special events among other subjects of public interest, to persons who sign up.

Mayor Mironov advised, “The E-News alerts are a major vehicle for communications during emergencies and weather impacting situations, as Sandy and recent major storms, to notify residents about municipal service changes and other important information. It also is a great means to keep abreast of new stores, roadway projects, community events and dates and other news of public interest.”

Internet users can register on the East Windsor Township website to be part of the E-News Updates network. To sign up for e-mail notifications, visitwww.east-windsor.nj.us and look for E-News registration section on the Township website home page.

Mayor Mironov added, “The Township hopes that residents will use this important avenue to keep informed about what is happening in East Windsor. The Mayor and Council place great importance on communications with our residents, and encourage people to register.”
