Mayor Janice S. Mironov and Council Members joined co-owners Bob and Lori Hahl to celebrate the grand opening of Retro Fitness. The 12,500 square foot fitness center has opened in the Windsor Center, located at the southwest corner of Route 130 and Princeton Hightstown Road.
Mayor Mironov stated, “Retro Fitness is an expanding fitness company which brings a variety of health and wellness programs and state of the art facilities and equipment to our community. Their experienced staff and extended operating hours will provide area residents with another avenue to maintain a year-round fitness routine.” Mayor Mironov continued, “The opening of Retro Fitness is a continuation of the exciting revitalization of Windsor Center by new owners Advance Realty, with attractive façade renovations and new national brands as Bottom Dollar, which opened in October, and Ross Dress for Less, which is slated for a 2014 opening.”
Retro Fitness offers a full array of exercise equipment, fitness classes, tanning beds, a smoothie bar, pro shop and a separate movie theater with exercise equipment. Founded in 2004, Retro Fitness has evolved from a regional Northeast gym into a national fitness system with more than 120 centers open or in development in 10 states. New Jersey locations include Lawrenceville, Freehold and Hamilton. Current hours are Monday to Friday from 6 am to 11 pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 7 am to 11 pm.
