East Windsor Township Mayor Janice S. Mironov Presents State of the Township Address at MIDJersey Chamber of Commerce Event

Mayor Janice S. Mironov presented the annual State of East Windsor Township Address at a MIDJersey Chamber of Commerce event held at the Holiday Inn East Windsor. The Mayor’s address included updates on commercial development, new business openings, environmental and open space projects and goals, roadway and transportation improvements, and other Township projects.

Mayor Mironov reviewed a variety of economic development activity including the opening of new stores and restaurants, the recent expansion of established companies and new businesses locating throughout the Township. Mayor Mironov also discussed local roadway improvements, the widening of the Turnpike at Exit 8, as well as the Route 33 Corridor Revitalization and Redevelopment Study and the Turnpike Exit 8 Transportation and Development Study, both projects funded through two separate $100,000 Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission grants.

Mayor Mironov stated, “East Windsor continues to attract quality commercial development which enhances both the tax base of our community and creates job opportunities for our residents. This annual event provides a great opportunity to share East Windsor accomplishments and goals with the business community and other interested people.” The address can be viewed on the Township website at www.east-windsor.nj.us or on Spotlight East Windsor on Comcast Cable Channel 27 and Verizon Channel 38.
