East Windsor Township Mayor Janice S. Mironov to Present State of the Township Address at MIDJersey Chamber of Commerce Luncheon Wednesday, May 8

Mayor Janice S. Mironov and the East Windsor Chapter of the MIDJersey Chamber of Commerce are pleased to announce that East Windsor Mayor Janice Mironov will deliver the annual State of East Windsor Township Address on Wednesday, May 8 at a luncheon event at the Holiday Inn East Windsor, located at 399 Monmouth Street, East Windsor.
Mayor Mironov’s annual address will include a report on accomplishments in 2012 as well as the Township’s goals for this year. Mayor Mironov’s topics will include commercial development updates, the Township’s open space program, local roadway improvements, the widening of the Turnpike at Interchange 8, recreation and other local topics of interest. The Mayor also will discuss the Route 33 Corridor Revitalization and Redevelopment Study and the Turnpike Exit 8 Transportation and Development Study, projects funded through two separate $100,000 Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission grants.
Mayor Mironov stated, “East Windsor continues to attract quality commercial development which enhances both the tax base of our community and creates job opportunities for our residents. This event provides a great opportunity for me to share accomplishments and goals with the business community and other interested people.” MIDJersey Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Robert Prunetti stated, “Under Mayor Mironov’s leadership, East Windsor Township continues to successfully advocate for the economic vitality of the entire region. As the MIDJersey Chamber, we appreciate all that the Mayor and her staff have done, and look forward to continuing our strong partnership.”
East Windsor offers businesses advantages including a central location in New Jersey with quick access to Exit 8 of the New Jersey Turnpike and to Interstate Routes 195, 295 and Route 1. There is also a wide variety of attractive well valued commercial, office and industrial sites at in the Township as well as a diverse and highly skilled work force. The major development corridors in the Township are the Route 571 campus corridor, the Route 130 retail corridor and the N.J. Turnpike/Route 33 corridor which includes both commercial and retail areas.
Networking begins at 11:30 a.m., followed by lunch at Noon. The program begins promptly at 1 p.m. All businesses and interested members of the community are invited to attend. The cost of this luncheon is $40 per member paying in advance and $45 per member paying at the door. The future member rate is $55.
