East Windsor Township Recognizes Kreps Middle School Student Winners of Clean Communities Suggestion Box Contest

East Windsor Township Mayor Janice Mironov recognized Melvin H. Kreps Middle School student winners of the Township Clean Communities Committee sponsored Suggestion Box Contest : “How to Increase the Amount of Recycling in Our Community?” The student winners were: 1st Place Winner Simrit Grewal; 2nd Place Winner Rahul Kamat and 3rd Place Winner Harish Ragindran. Winners received Mayoral certificates of recognition and gift certificates to Barnes and Noble donated by corporate sponsor Shiseido America.

Mayor Mironov stated that, “we received some very thoughtful ideas from our students on this important subject. We are pleased to involve students in discussions about how to help protect and preserve our environment.”

The individuals who judged the student submissions, Clean Communities Chairperson Barry Fliegelman, Environmental Commission Chairperson Ronald Balint and Director of Recreation James Brady.
