Mayor Janice S. Mironov announced that Township residents would be receiving by mail a free current street map of the Township. The colored map, created for the Township, includes every street in the Township, with an index for locating streets. The newly produced Township map also features places of interest in the Township such as parks and open space, shopping centers, corporate/business centers, preserved farmland, schools, police and fire and other sites of interest.

According to Mayor Mironov, “the new Township map is a great new resource which should prove to be very useful for current and new residents and businesses in locating streets, neighborhood and local facilities in the Township. The map also provides a variety of information on East Windsor and Township and area services and places.”

In addition to an introductory letter from Mayor Mironov, specific areas covered are municipal government, recreation and activities, public recreational facilities, community facilities and services, major shopping centers, restaurants, business assistance, and open space and farmland preservation. Also, phone numbers are provided for local government offices, utilities, transportation providers, libraries, hospitals, motels, newspapers, cable television, and community groups.

The printing of the Township is underwritten privately by local businesses and advertisers. The map was produced by Atlantic Communications Group in partnership with the Township.
