Police Officer Ryan Ballard joined the East Windsor Township Police Department on January 2, 2003, and currently serves as a Traffic Safety Officer. Mayor Mironov’s proclamation states, “Police Officer Ryan Ballard, who currently serves as a Secondary Officer in Charge, demonstrates his commitment to traffic safety through the careful enforcement of State and local laws, particularly in the area of drunk driving. Police Officer Ryan Ballard is known for his innovative efforts to enforce local ordinances in relation to the posting of illegal signs, particularly along public right-of-ways and on utility poles, with his efforts serving to minimize the presence of such signs and to enhance the appearance and safety of Township roads and intersections.”

Jennifer A. Santiago began her career with East Windsor Township as a student intern in the Municipal Clerk’s Office in 1992, was hired full-time in June 1993 as Clerk Typist I, then on June 23, 1994, attained the position of Secretary 2, and then moved up to Assistant to the Municipal Clerk on July 5, 1995. On November 1, 2011, Jennifer was promoted to Secretary to the Township Manager, where she currently serves. Mayor Mironov’s proclamation states, “Jennifer A. Santiago can always be counted on to help wherever she can, providing support to many different offices, and in doing so, setting a positive example for her co-workers through her dedication and professionalism. Jennifer A. Santiago is known for her knowledge of the Township, county, and state and for her courteous and attentive attitude toward all of the residents who come into the office requesting advice or information, always making sure to find the answer to every inquiry.”

Peter Genthe began his career with East Windsor Township on March 22, 2004 as a Laborer with the Sanitation Division of the Public Works Department, and thereafter earned his CDL certification and training to be a Driver Laborer. Peter Genthe is the ‘go to guy’ when things need to be fixed and is known to spend a little extra time explaining why something broke and how to prevent it from happening in the future.”
