East Windsor Township Mayor Presented by Governor’s Office with an American Flag

East Windsor Township Mayor Janice S. Mironov was presented by the Governor’s Office with an American flag that was flown over The World Trade Center on September 22, 2011 to commemorate the tenth anniversary of September 11.

Governor Chris Christie in a letter to Mayor Mironov wrote, “Please accept this gift as a token of our appreciation for the service you provide to our State and its residents, and as a reminder of a day we will never forget.” The letter continues, “Your leadership and dedication have been instrumental in helping New Jersey recover from one of the worst tragedies in our Nation’s history. I extend my sincere gratitude for your ongoing contributions toward building a brighter future for the Garden State and for ensuring we forever honor the lives lost on that day.”.
