Mayor Janice S. Mironov and Council Member Alan Rosenberg, along with founder and owner of Sukhadia Foods Piyush Sukhadia, celebrated the grand opening of Sukhadia’s Indian Grill Restaurant in the East Windsor Village shopping center on Princeton Hightstown Road.
Sukhadia’s Indian Grill features a casual dining room serving traditional Indian cuisine, plus a retail store that offers Indian sweets, snacks, and gift packages. Sukhadia Foods, headquartered in North Plainfield, New Jersey, is a seven-generation family owned business with over thirty years of experience in the United States and seven other locations in New Jersey, Chicago, and North Carolina.
Mayor Mironov stated, “Sukhadia’s Indian Grill is a unique new food establishment in our community that offers a casual café-style atmosphere and a variety of foods, snacks and desserts. This family owned business offers another option for dining within our area and is located in the popular East Windsor Village shopping center, which also includes Target, Kohl’s, T.J. Maxx and Patel’s grocery store. The varied assortment of Indian specialties and sweets, and great location should help make them an accessible and attractive stop for local residents.”
Current hours of operation are Monday through Friday 10 AM to 9 PM, Saturday and Sunday 9 AM to 9 PM. For more information, visit their website at www.sukhadia.com or call (609) 448-6300.
