Immediate Care Medical Walk-In of East Windsor an Affiliate of Centrastate Health Care Systems Opens in Town Center Plaza on Route 130 North

Mayor Janice S. Mironov and Council Members Peter Yeager, Alan Rosenberg and Denise Daniels, joined by CentraState Healthcare System President and CEO John Gribbin and Immediate Care Medical Walk-In CEO Salvatore Cannizzaro, surrounded by CentraState physicians, state and county elected officials, held a ribbon cutting for the new Immediate Care Medical Walk-In of East Windsor, an affiliate of CentraState Healthcare Systems. Immediate Care, an urgent care walk-in facility, located at the southernmost corner of the Town Center Plaza next to the Starplex Theater, is for non-life-threatening medical illnesses and injuries, and will provide wellness care, accident/injury evaluations, physical exams, x-rays, vaccines, occupational medicine, diabetic care, and wound care.
The Route 130 North East Windsor facility represents new growth by Immediate Care which has existing locations in Hazlet, NJ, and Toms River, NJ, and is the company’s first venture in Mercer County. The 4000 square foot Immediate Care, an Affiliate of CentraState Healthcare System, will be joined in July by the opening of the 10,387 square foot primary medical care CentraState Health Pavilion, a family practice of CentraState including specialists, physical therapy and laboratory services. The formal opening program for Immediate Care Medical Walk-In of East Windsor included remarks by CentraState Healthcare System President and CEO John Gribbin, Immediate Care Medical Walk-In CEO Salvatore Cannizzaro, and East Windsor Mayor Janice S. Mironov.
Mayor Mironov stated, “This is an exciting day for East Windsor to open this new CentraState affiliated urgent and primary care medical service facility which will be a welcome local option for our residents. This urgent care walk-in medical facility will provide for our residents and area what has become a recognized important medical service need for immediate convenient walk-in medical care, which also will be supported for on-going needs by an array of primary care physicians and services.“
Mayor Mironov continued, “We are honored to welcome CentraState President and CEO John Gribbin to East Windsor today and recognize and value the important relationship for our community with a major regional hospital represented by the opening of this new urgent and primary care medical facility. These new almost 15,000 square foot medical offices are located in a highly visible easily accessible location along our vibrant and thriving Route 130 corridor.”
Current Immediate Care Medical Walk-In hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 8 pm and Saturday and Sunday 8 am to 4 pm. For further information, visit www.immcare.com.
