  1. ALERT:   Milling and Paving Roadway Work on Cypress Drive between Spruce Road and Oak Creek Circle and Woodland Drive Between Oak Creek Road and Cypress Drive Is Expected to Begin on or about Monday, July 24 and continue for approximately three days, weather dependent.  There will be some minor delays and inconvenience during this work, but the road will remain open during paving operations.  Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7 am to 5 pm.  Residents in work areas should take note of any posted parking restrictions.
  2. REMINDER  East Windsor Holds Tusk Concert on Sunday, July 23 at 6 pm at Etra Lake Park.  The "Fleetwood Mac" tribute band, comprised of five seasoned musicians who have been entertaining together for over twenty-five years, will feature chart topping hits such as "Landslide", "Rhiannon", "Oh Well", "Go Your Own Way", "Don’t Stop", "Dreams", "Say You Love Me", "Hold Me" and many others.  All of the free summer concert and family night series is made possible by the generous donations of many area businesses.  In the event of questionable weather, call the East Windsor Information Hotline at (609) 443-4000, ext. 400 after 1 pm the day of the event.  In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be held at the East Windsor Regional School District Hightstown High School Auditorium.
  3. REMINDER:   East Windsor Township Continues Child Passenger - Car Safety Seat Inspection Sessions, to Promote Child Passenger Safety, on Saturday, July 22 and Thursday, September 14, from 3 pm to 8 pm at the East Windsor Police/Court building at 80 One Mile Road.  An additional session will take place on Tuesday, August 1 during the Township National Night Out event at the East Windsor PAL complex, 30 Airport Road, from 6 pm to 9 pm.  These FREE Child Passenger Safety Seat Inspections are hosted by Mayor Janice S. Mironov, Members of Council, and the Police Department for Township residents.  Participants will have their child seats inspected to ensure proper installation and will receive educational materials on how to safely and properly restrain children passengers.
  4. "National Night Out" Set for Tuesday, August 1, from 6 pm to 9 pm at the East Windsor PAL Complex, 30 Airport Road.  This annual fun educational Township event, sponsored by Mayor Janice Mironov and Council Members in conjunction with Chief of Police James Geary, features crime watch information, emergency services equipment, music, booths and displays by area groups and businesses with information and giveaways supporting the National Night Out theme.  Area community groups and businesses who wish to offer support, participate or host a booth can contact Det.   5. East Windsor Holds "Family Night in the Park" on Saturday, August 5 at 7 pm at Etra Lake Park Featuring "Sing!" on a Large-Screen Set in a world like ours but entirely inhabited by animals, "Sing!" stars Buster Moon (Matthew McConaughey), a dapper Koala who presides over a once-grand theater that has fallen on hard times.  Now facing the crumbling of his life’s ambition, he has one final chance to restore his fading jewel to its former glory by producing the world’s greatest singing competition.  Prior to the start of the movie, there will be inflatable rides, games, and vendors.
