- East Windsor Township Mayor and Council Encourage Citizens to Volunteer for Township Boards and Committees. Citizens can apply to serve on the Clean Communities Advisory Committee, Commission on Aging, East Windsor Municipal Utilities Authority, Economic Development Committee, Environmental Commission, Health Advisory Board, Planning Board, Recreation Commission, Zoning Board of Adjustment and the East Windsor Municipal Alliance for the Prevention of Substance Abuse. Residents interested in volunteering can obtain an application form from the municipal clerk or can fill out this form (CLICK HERE) and return by email to clerk@east-windsor.nj.us, by fax to (609) 443-8303, or by mail to Mayor Janice S. - East Windsor Will Offer On-line Tax Payment Option Effective January 2, 2018. The new online tax payment option available at the Township website will enable residents and businesses to pay their property taxes on-line by e-check or debit card or credit card, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Payments are subject to a convenience fee of $1.05 for e-check payments, $3.95 for Visa debit card payments and 2.95% for all other credit or debit card payments. This service also allows a taxpayer online access to the current year's tax bill as well as their tax account history for the prior three years. - East Windsor Township Participated in Womanspace "Communities of Light" on Monday, December 4, to raise funds for Womanspace and focus public awareness on domestic violence and services available to victims. Checks of support payable to Womanspace are still welcome (checks can be dropped off at the municipal building all month). Mayor Janice S. Mironov and Council Members, Domestic Violence Response Team members, police officers, Peddie School students and many area citizens and businesses joined to light candles around the entire perimeter and walkways of the Municipal Building. Communities of Light, benefiting victims of domestic violence, is sponsored by Womanspace, the primary non-profit organization in Mercer County providing crisis intervention and support for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. A tremendous turnout for the East Windsor event well exceeded 200 people including lots of students. The mission of Womanspace, which is celebrating their 40th Anniversary, is to provide a comprehensive array of services to individuals impacted by domestic violence and dedicated to improving the quality of life of women and their families.

- East Windsor Township Annual Reorganization Meeting Is Scheduled for Monday, January 1 at 2 pm at the East Windsor Township Senior Center (40 Lanning Boulevard). The public is invited to attend the largely ceremonial meeting at which the Township Council makes appointments to Township boards and committees, and does various recognitions. Light refreshments will be provided following the meeting.
- East Windsor Recreation Department Offers Trip to "Six Flags, Holiday in the Park" on Sunday, December 17, at 2 pm. Experience "millions of glittering lights, dazzling holiday entertainment, Santa's Village and many of its popular rides magically transformed into a winter wonderland." The fee is $40 per person, including transportation. Attendees 15 years or younger must be accompanied by an adult. - ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: Volunteer Opportunity in Television Broadcasting Available. If you are interested in broadcasting and would like hands-on training on a live, local television program, opportunities are available to work with the award winning "Spotlight East Windsor" program, one hour every other Wednesday night, at the East Windsor Municipal Building. Volunteers will learn camera techniques, audio, lighting, video switching, videotape operation and much more. Interested individuals should contact the Municipal Clerk’s office at (609) 443-4000, ext. 237 and provide your name and contact information.
