- East Windsor Township Mayor and Council Encourage Citizens to Volunteer for Township Boards and Committees. Citizens can apply to serve on the Clean Communities Advisory Committee, Commission on Aging, East Windsor Municipal Utilities Authority, Economic Development Committee, Environmental Commission, Health Advisory Board, Planning Board, Recreation Commission, Zoning Board of Adjustment and the East Windsor Municipal Alliance for the Prevention of Substance Abuse. Residents interested in volunteering can obtain an application form from the municipal clerk or can fill out this form (CLICK HERE) and return by email to clerk@east-windsor.nj.us, by fax to (609) 443-8303, or by mail to Mayor Janice S. - East Windsor Township 2017 Business Awards Presented to East Windsor Village, Americana Diner and Aurobindo Pharma USA by Mayor Janice S. Mironov. The purpose of the annual award program is to recognize local businesses that have made special efforts to improve or contribute to the community. The award categories are Business Beautification, Community Service and Community Enhancement.

EAST WINDSOR VILLAGE (known as "Target Center"), located at Princeton Hightstown Road and Lanning Boulevard, was recognized with the "Business Beautification Award." Over the past year, East Windsor Village has made numerous improvements to its grounds and landscaping including additional plantings, as well as to its facility, adding two major retailers, Kohl's and Patel Brothers Grocery. A popular shopping destination due to its location and the presence of great stores such as Target, Famous Footwear, TJ Maxx and Kay Jewelers, East Windsor Village's commitment to making continuous improvements to its facility has enhanced the community.

AMERICANA DINER, located on Route 130 just north of Princeton Hightstown Road, was recognized with the "Community Service Award". A destination itself, American Diner has numerous accolades from across the region. The Americana Diner has a long history of giving back to the East Windsor community. Previously, the Americana Diner received this award, demonstrating its longstanding commitment to community service. They work with the East Windsor Senior Center and Rise: A Community Service Project.

AUROBINDO PHARMA USA, located at Princeton Hightstown Road and Windsor Center Drive, was recognized with the "Community Enhancement" Award. Aurobindo, an India-based pharmaceutical company and the fifth largest manufacturer of generic drugs in the United States, opened a new 567,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility on Windsor Center Drive, which will create over 300 new jobs when fully operational. The pharmaceutical company also selected East Windsor for its North American headquarters and moved 122 administrative employees into the architecturally renowned Patcentre building. Aurobindo provides another high profile pharma high tech research and development company to promote the Einstein's Alley vision of the Township. Aurobindo also is advancing East Windsor's goal to become more environmentally sustainable with plans to install solar panels on top of its large new facility to help power its operations.

- East Windsor Will Offer On-line Tax Payment Option Effective January 2, 2018. The new online tax payment option available at the Township website will enable residents and businesses to pay their property taxes on-line by e-check or debit card or credit card, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Payments are subject to a convenience fee of $1.05 for e-check payments, $3.95 for Visa debit card payments and 2.95% for all other credit or debit card payments. This service also allows a taxpayer online access to the current year's tax bill as well as their tax account history for the prior three years. - East Windsor Township Annual Reorganization Meeting Is Scheduled for Monday, January 1 at 2 pm at the East Windsor Township Senior Center (40 Lanning Boulevard). The public is invited to attend the largely ceremonial meeting at which the Township Council makes appointments to Township boards and committees, and does various recognitions. A reception and refreshments will follow the meeting.
- ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: Volunteer Opportunity in Television Broadcasting Available. If you are interested in broadcasting and would like hands-on training on a live, local television program, opportunities are available to work with the award winning "Spotlight East Windsor" program, one hour every other Wednesday night, at the East Windsor Municipal Building. Volunteers will learn camera techniques, audio, lighting, video switching, videotape operation and much more. Interested individuals should contact the Municipal Clerk’s office at (609) 443-4000, ext. 237 and provide your name and contact information.
