Your Favorite East Windsor Restaurants for Pickup and Delivery East Windsor To Go! - CONTEST #3 for Week Ending June 14 By supporting the East Windsor To Go program of ordering great food from our community restaurants, residents can win valuable gift cards from Barnes and Noble by sending us photos of what you ordered for pickup or delivery. For our next contest we are asking residents to TELL US WHAT YOUR FAVORITE RESTAURANT IS AND WHY, for takeout or delivery from our local East Windsor restaurants. The best selection that includes the hashtags #EastWindsorEats and #EWFoodFave is eligible to win. The reasons can be anything - a favorite dish, customer service, best selection of entrees - anything! Give us the best reason and include the hashtags #EastWindsorEats and #EWFoodFave to be eligible to win. Remember "EAST WINDSOR TO GO". The "East Windsor To Go" program list on the Township website shows all of the food establishments that are open for food delivery or contactless pickup at their locations. The list also identifies those that sell gift cards for purchase either online or as part of a pickup order. They make great gifts and help better ensure these businesses will continue to thrive in our community and still be here for us in the future.

EAST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP UPDATES RISE FOOD PANTRY, located at 133 Broad Street in Hightstown, is currently open Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 9 A.M. to 12 noon, and on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. A drive thru event has been scheduled for Saturday, June 13 (gate opens at 2:00 pm; distribution starts at 2:30 pm), at Victoria Classics, 480 Mercer Street (Route 33) in Hightstown. Limit for Emergency Food packages will be 2 families per car. Rise also can arrange delivery for senior citizens in need. For additional information or to request a delivery, call (609) 443-4464. Rise is accepting donations and currently seeks volunteers to assist during "no contact" food drop-off hours Monday to Saturday from 11 A.M. to 5 P.M. at the Rise Thrift Store, located at 114 Rogers Avenue in Hightstown. Mercer County has reported, as of June 12, 2020, there have been 21 new cases for a total of 7,295 confirmed COVID-19 Cases to date, and 5 additional deaths for a total, sadly, of 515 deaths in Mercer County. All active cases are either at home self-isolating or admitted to the hospital. The State of New Jersey today reported 458 additional Confirmed COVID-19 Cases for a current total of 166,164 cases, and 45 additional deaths for a total of 12,489 COVID-19 related deaths statewide. STATE OF NEW JERSEY UPDATES Governor Murphy, in today's daily briefing, advised that tomorrow, he would be issuing an executive order allowing Libraries to offer curbside service. effective Monday, June 15.
