  1. REMINDER:   East Windsor Holds Real Diamond Tribute to Neil Diamond Concert on Sunday, August 12 at 6 P.M. at Etra Lake Park.  This 11-piece professional band is dedicated to the faithful re-creation of the live Neil Diamond experience.  The band's renditions of many of his greatest hits will include: Cherry Cherry, Holly Holy, Kentucky Woman, Cracklin Rosie, Sweet Caroline, America, Love on the Rocks, and many more.  All of the free summer concert and family night series is made possible by the generous donations of many area businesses.  If inclement weather, the program will be moved indoors to the East Windsor Regional School District Hightstown High School auditorium.  In the event of questionable weather, call the East Windsor Information Hotline at (609) 443-4000, ext. 400 after 1 P.M. the day of the event. 
  2. East Windsor Holds The Infernos Concert on Sunday, August 26 at 6 P.M. at Etra Lake Park.  The Infernos, America's #1 Show Band and a premier live performance group, has been on the music scene since 1977.  The Infernos will perform four decades of music, from Barry White, Earth Wind and Fire and Sinatra to today's hot sounds of Bruno Mars, Robin Thicke and Taylor Swift.  The band will present many all-time favorites as Love Train, September, Your the First My Last, Ain't No Mountain High Enough, My Way, Luck Be a Lady, and many more.  All of the free summer concert and family night series is made possible by the generous donations of many area businesses.  If inclement weather, the program will be moved indoors to the East Windsor Regional School District Hightstown High School auditorium.  In the event of questionable weather, call the East Windsor Information Hotline at (609) 443-4000, ext. 400 after 1 P.M. the day of the event.
  3. "Spotlight East Windsor":  Meet the Mayor Call-in Cable Show Student Production Volunteers Recognized by Mayor Janice Mironov.  The student volunteers, behind the scenes, assist in the production of the program.  The student volunteers learn a great deal about the technical aspects and operations of producing a live television show.  Thank you to our outstanding students:   Tyler Harris;  Shreya Jain;  Ian Massaro;  Elena Plumser;  Tyler Schamper;  Siddharth Sircar, and Denisse Quintanilla!  "Spotlight East Windsor" will go on summer break, and return live on Wednesday, September 12 at 7 P.M.

  4. SPECIAL NOTICE ON TAX BILLS:   Mailing of Third Quarter Tax Bills Due August 1 Has Been DELAYED Due to Adoption of the New Jersey State Budget and State Budget Changes to School Funding.  The Township has received the certified tax rate from Mercer County and the final 2018 tax bills will be mailed no later than August 17.  The due date for third quarter taxes will be September 10.  Per state regulations, there is no further grace period and interest will accrue back to August 1 on tax bills not paid by September 10.  Taxpayers can now view their tax bills on the Township website and can pay through the Township on-line system or can await the receipt of the mailed tax bills.  Any questions, contact the Tax Office at (609) 443-4000, ext. 231.
  5. REMINDER:   Child Passenger Safety Seat Inspection Program, Sponsored by East Windsor Township and Funded by $7,000 Grant from the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety, Concludes on Thursday, September 13, from 3 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the East Windsor Police/Court Building, 80 One Mile Road.  The 2018 Child Passenger Safety Seat Inspection Program is designed to ensure motorists are properly securing their children in child seats as required by State law.  Interested residents, at no cost, can have their child seats inspected for proper fit and installation in their vehicles and receive educational materials regarding current child restraint laws.
  6. East Windsor Township Celebrated "National Night Out" on August 7, attended by well over 2,000 people.  East Windsor Mayor Janice S. Mironov issued and presented to East Windsor Neighborhood Crime Watch volunteer members a Mayoral Proclamation stating, "National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships, and foremost send a strong message to criminals letting them know that the community and police have joined together in fighting crime."  The event is held annually to demonstrate the commitment of East Windsor Township in promoting a cooperative partnership between police, local government and citizens to vigilance and crime prevention throughout the East Windsor community.

  7. East Windsor Is Seeking Nominations for the 2018 Township Business Awards Program.  The purpose of the program is to recognize local businesses that make special efforts to improve or contribute to the community.  The three categories of Township award recognition are:   (1) Business Beautification - creating an attractive appearance, for example, through landscaping, flowers, and other enhancements to their structures and site;  (2) Community Service - providing for community contributions and service, and (3) Community Enhancement - providing some manner of community enhancement, for example, through extraordinary job creation, an unusual or special product or opportunity or any community value added aspect related to their business.  Green and sustainable practices, for example, green products, energy conservation, reduction of waste and energy consumption are encouraged and will be given more weight.  Nomination forms are available at the Municipal Building and on-line at the Township website at (CLICK HERE).  The deadline for nominations is September 14.
  8. Improvements to Maple Stream Road between Brooktree Road and Oak Creek Road and Heathwood Drive between Maple Stream Road and Dutch Neck Road Are Ongoing with Concrete Repairs to Curbs, Aprons and Handicapped Ramps.  Thereafter, the roadway will be milled and paved, and the entire project is expected to be completed by the end of August.  The project is being performed by low bidder, S. Brothers, Inc. of South River, New Jersey.  Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7 A.M. to 5 P.M
