  1. ALERT: Mercer County Milling and Paving of Stockton Street (County Route 571) in Hightstown Borough from Main Street (Highway 33) to Oak Lane Scheduled to Begin on or about Monday, August 9, and continue for approximately four weeks, weather permitting. Traffic will be signed for a detour at Route 130 and Stockton Street using Route 130, Town Center Road and North Main Street (County Route 539). Only local traffic will be permitted. Stockton Street will remain open during non-work hours. Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 7 A.M. to 3 P.M.
  2. REMINDER: East Windsor Holds "AM Gold Yacht Rock Party" -- Hit Songs from 1975 to 1985 Concert on Sunday, August 8 at 6 P.M. at Etra Lake Park. AM GOLD is a New York City based tribute band, performing the adult-contemporary hit songs from the late 1970’s through the mid 1980’s. Artists include Hall & Oates, Steely Dan, Huey Lewis, Christopher Cross, and Lionel Richie! Most of this Southern-California based music has recently experienced a revival known to many as "Yacht Rock". These free events are made possible through the generous contributions of many area businesses.   3. East Windsor Holds "Wooden Ships Band" Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young Tribute on Sunday, August 22 at 6 P.M. at Etra Lake Park. "Take the beauty and intricacy of the vocal harmonies of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, add the voices of three women and you get a CSN experience that transcends the typical tribute band". These free events are made possible through the generous contributions of many area businesses.     The audience enjoyed the music and a relaxing evening at the recent concert as Jersey Four performed a Tribute to Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons at Etra Lake Park.
  4. CALENDAR: East Windsor Holds "Gathering Time" Concert on Sunday, August 29 at 6 P.M. at Etra Lake Park. For over a decade, Long Island-based folk-rock/Americana/AAA trio Gathering Time has toured both in the US and internationally, mixing new interpretations of both 1960's and 1970's classics and old traditional tunes with their strong original songs. These free events are made possible through the generous contributions of many area businesses.   5. East Windsor Township Celebrated "National Night Out" on Tuesday, August 3, joining with other towns nationally across the United States and Canada. This year’s National Night Out was a well-attended event held at the Township Police/Court building, featuring crime watch information, tours of the police station and police vehicles, displays of fire and rescue equipment, booths and displays by local businesses and community organizations, and various games and activities for children. Mayor Mironov, Council Members and police officers joined together with residents to underscore the cooperative partnership among police, local government and citizens to vigilance and crime prevention throughout the East Windsor community.

  6. SPECIAL NOTICE ON THIRD QUARTER TAX BILLS: Third Quarter August 1 Tax Bills, delayed awaiting State certification of the Mercer County tax rate, were mailed and received. Taxpayers also can view and pay their tax bills through the Township website on-line system (CLICK HERE). As a result of the delay, the grace period for third quarter taxes is extended to August 25, 2021 with no further grace period, and for tax payments not received by August 25, interest will accrue back to August 1.
