  1. East Windsor Township Holds 20th Anniversary Ceremony for 9-11 and Remembers Township Residents Colleen Barkow, Lorraine Bay, Debbie Bellows, Anil Bharvaney, Neil Lai, Ruth Lapin as well as Joseph Pycior and All Others Lost on September 11, 2001. Participants, which included local officials, fire company volunteers, EMS volunteers, police, clergy, students, veterans, scouts and local organizations, shared words of reflection, readings, music presentations and prayers, in the Township 9-11 ceremony to remember and honor the events and victims of that day.   2. East Windsor Township Holds Document Shredding and Electronics Recycling Event on Saturday, October 2 from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M., Rain or Shine, at the East Windsor Senior Center (40 Lanning Boulevard). NO OTHER DROP-OFFS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THIS EVENT. This Township event, sponsored by Mayor Janice S. Mironov and Council Members, will offer Free document shredding to East Windsor residents (no commercial drop-offs are permitted), with a limit of ten boxes per household. Electronics Recycling is limited to only televisions, computers and accessories, monitors, fax machines, cell phones, VCR's, cable boxes and telephones. All drop-offs shall be "Contact-less" and residents must remain in their vehicles at all times. Trained staff wearing masks and gloves will remove items from the trunk and rear seat of the vehicle.   3. FINAL Township Child Passenger Car Seat Safety Inspection Session Will Be Held on Thursday, September 23 from 3 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the Police/Court building at 80 One Mile Road, Funded by $6,000 Grant from the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety. The FREE Child Passenger Car Seat safety inspections for Township residents, hosted by Mayor Janice S. Mironov, Members of Council and the police department, are to promote child passenger safety. Participants will have their child car seats inspected by a certified technician to ensure proper installation and will receive educational materials regarding current state child restraint laws. The inspection takes approximately ten minutes, and no appointment is necessary.
  4. Mercer County Holds Paper Shredding Day on Saturday, October 9 from 9 am to 12 pm, rain or shine, at Lot 4, South Broad Street, Trenton (across from county administration building at 641 South Broad Street). Residents may bring up to eight boxes or bags of paper; no household chemicals and no commercial businesses are permitted. Proof of residency such as a driver's license is required.   5. East Windsor Offers Free Flu Clinics on Thursday, October 14 and Thursday, October 28, from 1 P.M. to 4 P.M. at the Township Senior Center (40 Lanning Boulevard), for East Windsor and Hightstown residents 60 years and older. The Flu Clinics will be drive-thru and face coverings are required. The flu vaccinations are by appointment only, by calling the Township Health Department at (609) 443-4000, ext. 222.
  6. Vote By Mail Applications for the November 2, 2021 Election Are Available from the Municipal Clerk’s office or on-line at the New Jersey Division of Elections website (CLICK HERE). Applications must be mailed and cannot be accepted by facsimile or email. Mailed applications must be received at least seven days prior to the election. Voters can also walk into the County Clerk's office in Trenton and apply until 3 P.M. the day before the election.
