November 24, 2021 - REMINDER: No Township Curbside Garbage Collection Will Occur on Thursday, November 25 and Friday, November 26 and All Township Offices Will Be CLOSED due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Garbage Collection for Area #1 residents, normally, on Thursday, November 25, will be on the next scheduled collection day of Monday, November 29. Garbage Collection for Area #2 residents, normally on Friday, November 26, will be on the next scheduled collection date of Tuesday, November 30. - East Windsor Roadway Improvements to Oakbranch Road, Pineybranch Road, Pinehurst Drive, and Warren Drive Are Substantially Complete. Funded by a $530,000 New Jersey Department of Transportation grant, repairs to curbs, handicapped ramps and driveway aprons, as well as milling and paving are complete. The remaining minor punch list items are anticipated to be completed within the next week.
- East Windsor Township Encourages Residents to Support and Participate in Womanspace "Communities of Light" Scheduled for Monday, December 6. Citizens and businesses can participate and support Womanspace by purchasing candles and gathering with local elected officials and police on Monday, December 6 at 5 P.M. to light up the East Windsor Municipal Building. Luminary kits, containing six candles each, can be purchased for $10 at any time at the East Windsor Police/Court Building (80 One Mile Road) and bringing the luminary kits to the event. All proceeds will go 100% directly to Womanspace, the primary Mercer County organization providing a comprehensive array of services to individuals affected by domestic violence and dedicated to improving the quality of life of abuse victims and their families. - REMINDER: New Jersey Homestead Rebate Application Deadline is Tuesday, November 30, 2021. Homeowners can file applications either online or by phone, the online application is available at www.njtaxation.org, and the automated telephone filing system phone number is (877) 658-2972, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Eligible homeowners 65 or older as of December 31, 2018 and disabled must have owned and occupied their home as their principle residence on October 1, 2018 and have a 2018 gross income not more than $150,000. Homeowners under 65 as of December 31, 2018 and not disabled must have a 2018 gross income of no more than $75,000. The 2018 property taxes must be paid.
