August 19, 2022 - REMINDER: East Windsor Holds "B-Street Band" Bruce Springsteen Tribute Concert on Sunday, August 21 at 6 P.M. at Etra Lake Park. “The B-Street Band” is the top requested Bruce Springsteen tribute band on the circuit, with over 200 shows per year throughout the country. When “The Boss” himself has made an appearance to see the show, you know the performance will be second-to-none. - REMINDER: East Windsor Township Offers Mobile COVID-19 Vaccination and Booster Dose Clinic on Thursday, August 25 from 4 P.M. to 6 P.M. at East Windsor Volunteer Fire Company No. 2 (69 Twin Rivers Drive). Primary vaccines and boosters for Pfizer and Moderna are available including for children ages 5 through 11. Appointments Are Required, no later than Wednesday, August 24 at 12 P.M. - East Windsor Township Unveils New Gateway Signs Installed at Major Entrances to East Windsor. The modern blue and white signs, sponsored and funded by local businesses, depict the Township signature logo, the 1797 year of incorporation, and the Township tagline "East Windsor Community and Commerce". Thank you to business sponsors Aurobindo Pharma, CentraState Medical Center, H & H Appliance, Hovione, Shiseido Americas and Working Dog Winery. The six locations of the new gateway signs are Route 130 North (near Conover Road), Route 130 South (near Old Cranbury Road), Princeton-Hightstown Road eastbound, Old Trenton Road northbound, Windsor-Perrineville Road at Old York Road, and Route 33 West (near Twin Rivers Drive).

Residents who are income eligible can receive up to $20,000 under this program for needed home improvement work such as roofs, foundations, heating, plumbing and electrical systems, and lead based paint hazard remediation. - Mercer County Hazardous Waste Collection and Electronics Recycling Event Will Be Held on Saturday, September 10, from 8 A.M. to 2 P.M., rain or shine, at the John T. Dempster Fire School, located at 350 Lawrence Station Road in Lawrence Township. No registration is required, just proof of Mercer County residency. Residents can dispose of aerosol cans, used motor oil, propane gas tanks, pesticides, herbicides, car batteries, paint thinner, oil based paints, stains and varnishes, gasoline, anti-freeze, driveway sealer, insect repellents, and fluorescent and compact fluorescent bulbs. Used electronic equipment, including computers, printers, copiers, fax machines, stereos, televisions, and microwaves will be accepted. - CALENDAR: East Windsor Is Holding Ceremony for 21st Anniversary of 9/11 on Sunday, September 11 at 12:45 P.M. to remember and honor the anniversary of September 11. The ceremony will take place at the existing 9/11 Memorial located on the grounds of the East Windsor Township Municipal Building (16 Lanning Boulevard).
- East Windsor Is Seeking Nominations for the 2022 Township Business Awards Program. The purpose of the program is to recognize local businesses that make special efforts to improve or contribute to the community. The three categories of Township award recognition are: (1) Business Beautification - creating an attractive appearance, for example, through landscaping, flowers, and other enhancements to their structures and site; (2) Community Service - providing for community contributions and service, and (3) Community Enhancement - providing some manner of community enhancement, for example, through extraordinary job creation, an unusual or special product or opportunity or any community value added aspect related to their business. Green and sustainable practices, for example, green products, energy conservation, reduction of waste and energy consumption are encouraged and will be given more weight.
