  1. REMINDER: JOIN East Windsor Officials at "National Night Out" on Tuesday, August 6, from 5:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. at the East Windsor P.A.L. Complex (30 Airport Road). This annual fun educational Township event, sponsored by Mayor Janice S. Mironov and Council Members in conjunction with Chief of Police Jason Hart, features crime watch information, displays of emergency services equipment, canine drug detection demonstrations, booths and displays by area groups and businesses with information and giveaways supporting the National Night Out theme, DJ provided music and refreshments. Youth games and activities will feature jumping/climbing inflatables, climbing obstacle course, face painting and air brush tattoos.


  2. East Windsor Holds “Family Night In The Park” on Saturday, August 10 at 7 P.M. at Etra Lake Park. Featuring a large screen viewing of the newly released Universal Studios computer-animated comedy/adventure film “Migration” about a family of ducks who decide to leave the safety of a New England pond for an adventurous trip to Jamaica. However, their well-laid plans quickly go awry when they get lost and wind up in New York City. In the event of questionable weather, call the East Windsor Information Hotline at (609) 443-4000, ext. 400 after 1 P.M. the day of the event.
  3. East Windsor Holds "Frontier's" Concert on Sunday, August 18 at 6 P.M. at Etra Lake Park. "Frontier's” is the world’s number one tribute band to Journey. These five talented, skilled, renowned New York City area musicians recreate the music of Journey to perfection, note for note. The program will include Journey’s timeless, chart topping hits such as “Open Arms”, “Separate Ways”, “Send Her My Love”, “Faithfully”, and more. In the case of inclement weather, the concert will be moved to Melvin H. Kreps School auditorium (5 Kent Lane).
  4. ALERT: Starting Monday, August 5, weather permitting, the New Jersey Department of Transportation will begin road work on Route 33 (Franklin Street), from Stockton Street in Hightstown to Woodside Avenue, during the overnight hours. EXPECT DELAYS, as the work will include temporary lane closures. The project, which will consist of milling and paving, is expected to be completed two weeks from the start date.
  5. 3RD QUARTER TAX BILLS ARE COMING. The Township Tax Collector, advises that the 2024/2025 tax bills will be mailed no later than Monday, August 5. Taxpayers now can view their tax bills on the Township website (CLICK HERE) and can pay through the Township on-line system or can await the receipt of the mailed tax bill. Tax payments also are accepted in person at the Municipal Building, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 P.M. The third quarter payment grace period has been extended through August 30. Any payment received after August 30 will accrue interest back to August 1, 2024. Contact the Township Tax Office at (609) 443-4000, ext. 430 with any questions.
  6. NOTICE: The Transportation Provider for the Princeton Junction Shuttle Service to the Train Station Will Change to The Arc Mercer (from Stouts Transportation), Effective August 1, 2024. So, look for the new bus. The shuttle routes and fares will remain unchanged. The Princeton Junction Shuttle commuter bus service, servicing East Windsor and Hightstown, provides service to and from the Princeton Junction Train Station during the morning and evening rush hours, Monday through Friday excluding holidays. Pick-ups and drop-offs will be made in the circular driveway in front of the Princeton Junction Train Station. Limited morning pickup service at the Princeton Junction Train Station with corresponding evening pickup service at two locations in East Windsor also is available.
