  1. Mercedes Salon & Spa Holds Grand Opening Ceremony, Located in Windsor Center at Intersection of Route 130 and Princeton Hightstown Road, between Yummy Sushi and Trinity Rehab. Mercedes Salon, a 13 year Hightstown business, has relocated with eight employees, joining other Windsor Center businesses Aldi, Staples, Petco, Ross Dress for Less and Retro Fitness. The salon offers haircuts, coloring, balayage, manicures, pedicures, gel nails, and more. Current hours for Mercedes Salon are Monday to Friday, 9:30 A.M. to 5 P.M., Saturday 9:30 A.M. to 5 P.M. and Sunday 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. For more information, call (609) 448-3813.

  2. The Last Day to Register to Vote in the November 5 General Election Is Tuesday, October 15. Registration forms can be obtained online at www.njelections.org. or at the municipal clerk's office in town hall. If you need to check if you are registered (CLICK HERE).

  3. Vote By Mail Applications Must Be Mailed by Tuesday, October 29 or Returned in Person by 3 P.M. on Monday, November 4 to the Mercer County Clerk’s Office. If you are completing a Vote by Mail ballot, you can place it in any secure drop box up to 8 P.M. on Election Day, November 5. A secure drop box is located in front of the East Windsor Municipal Court/Police Building (80 One Mile Road).

  4. RESCHEDULED: East Windsor Recreation Hosts Halloween “Trick-or-Treat” Event on Sunday, October 13, from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M. at Etra Lake Park. The free community event, for children 12 and under, will include Halloween themed arts and crafts, face painting, DJ, and Trick-or-Treat trail. Interested participants MUST be accompanied by an adult and will need to register through Community Pass (CLICK HERE). In the event of inclement weather, call the East Windsor Information Hotline at (609) 443-4000, ext. 400 after 11 A.M. on the day of the event for updates.

  5. East Windsor Is Inviting Residents to Apply for Home Improvement Funds Pursuant to the Township Small Cities Housing Rehabilitation Grant Program. Funded by a $195,551 Small Cities Community Development Block Grant from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, funds are provided as a no interest deferred loan, for eligible improvements and homeowners. The amount is not due or payable until sale or transfer of title and only for the exact amount. There is no cost to apply. Residents who are income eligible can receive up to $25,000 under this program for needed home improvement work such as roofs, foundations, heating, plumbing and electrical systems, and lead based paint hazard remediation.
