    Getinge, a Global Life Science Company Celebrates Grand Opening in Newly Constructed 167,500 Square Foot Building in the Innovation Park Complex on Princeton-Hightstown Road and One Mile Road. Getinge, founded in Sweden in 1904, is a global medical device technology company which provides innovative equipment and systems to healthcare and life science industries, to improve peoples' quality of life and save lives. Getinge, using digital advances, is helping to create an improved work environment for healthcare staff with products that simplify their work, lead to increased productivity and save more lives. Getinge assists, among other items, with devices and systems for intensive care, cardiovascular procedures, operating rooms and sterile processing. The company has over 11,000 employees operating in 40 countries and 25,000 customers in over 130 countries. This new Getinge location in the East Windsor Innovation Park facility will join facilities in France, China, Germany, Poland, Sweden, Turkey, Netherlands and the United Kingdom. The newly constructed modern Innovation Park, located on 86.97 acres formerly occupied by McGraw Hill and comprised of two buildings, is designed to attract innovative high-tech business and incorporates modern unique architectural features and extensive outdoor green areas and landscaped public spaces, benches and a walking pathway.

  1. REMINDER: The Last Day to Register to Vote in the November 5 General Election Is Tuesday, October 15. Registration forms can be obtained online at www.njelections.org. or at the municipal clerk's office in town hall. If you need to check if you are registered (CLICK HERE).
  2. Early In-Person Voting Begins Saturday, October 26 through Sunday, November 3 at Seven Sites in Mercer County, Including East Windsor at the Hickory Corner Branch Library. Early Voting hours are Wednesday through Saturday, 10 A.M. to 8 P.M. and Sunday, 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. Voters can vote in-person on regular voting machines at any of the Mercer County early voting sites, which include East Windsor, below:
    o East Windsor: Mercer County Library, 138 Hickory Corner Road
    o Ewing: Mercer County Office Park, 1440 Parkside Avenue
    o Hamilton: Colonial Fire House Company, 801 Kuser Road
    o Lawrence: Mercer County Library, 2751 Brunswick Pike at Darrah Lane,
    o Pennington: Pennington Fire Department, 120 Broemel Place
    o Princeton: Princeton Municipal Building, 400 Witherspoon Street
    o Trenton: Trenton Fire Headquarters, 244 Perry Street
  3. Vote By Mail Applications Must Be Mailed by Tuesday, October 29 or Returned in Person by 3 P.M. on Monday, November 4 to the Mercer County Clerk’s Office. If you are completing a Vote by Mail ballot, you can place it in any secure drop box up to 8 P.M. on Election Day, November 5. A secure drop box for completed Vote by Mail Ballots is located in front of the East Windsor Municipal Court/Police Building (80 One Mile Road).

  4. REMINDER: East Windsor Recreation Hosts Halloween “Trick-or-Treat” Event on Sunday, October 13, from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M. at Etra Lake Park. The free community event, for children 12 and under, will include Halloween themed arts and crafts, face painting, DJ, and Trick-or-Treat trail. Interested participants MUST be accompanied by an adult and will need to register through Community Pass (CLICK HERE). In the event of inclement weather, call the East Windsor Information Hotline at (609) 443-4000, ext. 400 after 11 A.M. on the day of the event for updates.

  5. East Windsor Municipal Utilities Authority (EWMUA) Is Conducting Semi-Annual Hydrant Flushing to remove sediment from pipes, monitor water flows and pressures, and provide visual inspection of the hydrants during the hours between 9 A.M. and 3:30 P.M. on the following dates: This schedule is subject to change due to conflicting work that must be done by EWMUA personnel. According to the EWMUA, customers may notice a drop in water pressure or may experience discolored water. At no time will the water quality be compromised, and the water is safe to use.     • October 15 through October 18: Twin Rivers and Centex areas.
    • October 21 through October 25: Windsor Regency, Georgetown, Cranbury Manor, Stonegate and sections of Route 130.
    • October 28 through November 1: Hickory Acres, Brooktree area, Renaissance Estates, Princeton East, Oak Creek Estates, Riviera, neighborhoods along Dutch Neck Road, One Mile Road and sections of Route 130.
