  1. Early In-Person Voting Begins Saturday, October 26 through Sunday, November 3 at Seven Sites in Mercer County, Including East Windsor at the Hickory Corner Branch Library. Early Voting hours are Wednesday through Saturday, 10 A.M. to 8 P.M. and Sunday, 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. Voters can vote in-person on regular voting machines at any of the Mercer County early voting sites, which include East Windsor, per below:
    o East Windsor: Mercer County Library, 138 Hickory Corner Road
    o Ewing: Mercer County Office Park, 1440 Parkside Avenue
    o Hamilton: Colonial Fire House Company, 801 Kuser Road
    o Lawrence: Mercer County Library, 2751 Brunswick Pike at Darrah Lane,
    o Pennington: Pennington Fire Department, 120 Broemel Place
    o Princeton: Princeton Municipal Building, 400 Witherspoon Street
    o Trenton: Trenton Fire Headquarters, 244 Perry Street
  2. Vote By Mail Applications Must Be Mailed by Tuesday, October 29 or Returned in Person by 3 P.M. on Monday, November 4 to the Mercer County Clerk’s Office. If you are completing a Vote by Mail ballot, you can place it in any secure drop box up to 8 P.M. on Election Day, November 5. A secure drop box for completed Vote by Mail Ballots is located in front of the East Windsor Municipal Court/Police Building (80 One Mile Road).

  3. East Windsor Mayor Proclaims October as "Breast Cancer Awareness Month" and further recognizes and expresses "appreciation for the special valuable contributions and dedication of Dance For the Cure." Dance for the Cure, a local 100% volunteer-run non-profit organization, is committed to the prevention and cure of breast cancer through the celebration of dance and assisting individuals navigating the challenges of breast cancer. The organization has gifted over $1 million to individuals with breast cancer in central New Jersey to provide assistance to cover medical expenses, living costs and other needs. The Mayoral Proclamation states, "Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in the United States affecting one out of eight women nationally in their lifetime, promoting awareness and use of breast cancer early detection practices increases the likelihood of survival and is essential to the control of the disease".

  4. Best Brains Learning Center in Towne Center on Route 130 South, Holds Grand Opening Ceremony, Best Brains Learning Center, located between H&R Block and Hunan House, was founded in 2011 and opened their first US franchise location in 2013. Best Brains offers a comprehensive selection of programs for students ages 3 to 14, taught by real teachers with a concept-based approach encouraging learners to improve their academic skills with every lesson. Students receive individualized attention aimed to build the confidence needed to excel in the classroom and beyond, and subjects include Math, English, Abacus, and Coding. Current hours for the East Windsor Best Brains Learning Center are as follows: Tuesday 4:30 P.M. to 7:40 P.M., Thursday 4:30 P.M. to 7:40P.M., and Saturday 9:30 A.M. to 12:40 P.M..   5. East Windsor Will Participate in Operation Medicine Cabinet on Saturday, October 26 from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M., a program offering residents the opportunity to dispose of unused, unwanted and expired prescription medications in an environmentally responsible manner and reducing possible access by unauthorized persons and young people to these drugs. The Township has a drop box in the lobby of the police/court building at 80 One Mile Road for the collection of these various medications. This special one-day collaborative event with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is intended to focus community attention on the importance and opportunity for secure and responsible disposal of medications. Collected medications will be turned over to the DEA on the next business day for final disposal. The Township maintains a year-round 24/7 accessible permanent medicine drop box in the lobby of the police/court building.
  6. East Windsor Will Hold Free Rabies Clinics for dog and cat owners on Saturday, November 2 from 1 P.M to 3 P.M. at East Windsor Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 at 51 One Mile Road and on Saturday, November 9 from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M. at East Windsor Volunteer Fire Company No. 2 at 69 Twin Rivers Drive. Owners will be required to show a certificate of previous rabies vaccination to receive vaccination of a three-year duration; otherwise vaccinations of one-year duration only will be provided.   7. East Windsor Offers Free Flu Clinic on Thursday, October 24 from 1 P.M. to 4 P.M. at the Township Senior Center (40 Lanning Boulevard), for East Windsor and Hightstown residents 60 years and older. The vaccinations are by appointment only, by calling the Township Health Department at (609) 443-4000, ext. 422.

  8. East Windsor Municipal Utilities Authority (EWMUA) Is Conducting Semi-Annual Hydrant Flushing to remove sediment from pipes, monitor water flows and pressures, and provide visual inspection of the hydrants during the hours between 9 A.M. and 3:30 P.M. on the following dates: This schedule is subject to change due to conflicting work that must be done by EWMUA personnel. According to the EWMUA, customers may notice a drop in water pressure or may experience discolored water. At no time will the water quality be compromised, and the water is safe to use.     • October 21 through October 25: Windsor Regency, Georgetown, Cranbury Manor, Stonegate and sections of Route 130.
    • October 28 through November 1: Hickory Acres, Brooktree area, Renaissance Estates, Princeton East, Oak Creek Estates, Riviera, neighborhoods along Dutch Neck Road, One Mile Road and sections of Route 130.
