  1. EARLY IN-PERSON VOTING REMAINS AVAILABLE through Sunday, November 3 at Seven Sites in Mercer County, Including East Windsor at the Hickory Corner Branch Library. Early Voting hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 A.M. to 8 P.M. and Sunday, 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. Voters can vote in-person on regular voting machines at any of the Mercer County early voting sites, which include East Windsor, per below:
    o East Windsor: Mercer County Library, 138 Hickory Corner Road
    o Ewing: Mercer County Office Park, 1440 Parkside Avenue
    o Hamilton: Colonial Fire House Company, 801 Kuser Road
    o Lawrence: Mercer County Library, 2751 Brunswick Pike at Darrah Lane,
    o Pennington: Pennington Fire Department, 120 Broemel Place
    o Princeton: Princeton Municipal Building, 400 Witherspoon Street
    o Trenton: Trenton Fire Headquarters, 244 Perry Street
  2. Vote By Mail Ballots Must Be Postmarked or Returned to Any Secure Drop Box by 8 P.M. on Election Day, November 5. A secure drop box for completed Vote by Mail Ballots is located in front of the East Windsor Municipal Court/Police Building (80 One Mile Road).   3. Election Day is TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5, and polls are open from 6 A.M. to 8 P.M. Check your Sample Ballot to confirm polling place. If you are completing a Vote by Mail ballot, you can place it in any secure drop box, up to 8 P.M. on Election Day. NOTE: A secure drop box is located in front of the East Windsor Municipal Court Building (80 One Mile Road).   4. Rising Pharmaceuticals, a U.S.-based Pharmaceutical Company Will Occupy 165,000 Square Foot Building at 330 Wyckoff Mills Road. Rising Pharmaceuticals engages in the development, manufacturing and supply of a diverse portfolio of therapeutic products worldwide. The company has approximately 300 employees worldwide with headquarters in East Brunswick, and manufacturing facilities in Illinois and India. Rising Pharma is in the process of fitting out the building to be occupied for its pharmaceutical needs. The retrofit will include the construction of over 12,000 pallet positions, with the ability to store 25,000 pallets for a diversity of medical products. The facility will initially have 50 employees with the goal of expanding and broadening their product offerings. Rising Pharma will be joining other prominent high-tech and pharmaceutical companies in East Windsor, including Hovione, Novitium Pharma, Apnar Pharma, Sabinsa Corporation, Elementis, Vectornate USA, Aurobindo Pharma, Shiseido America, QTS, RK Pharma, Getinge, ForDoz Pharma, and Empower Pharma.
  5. Mayor Janice S. Mironov Proclaimed November 1, 2024 as Kannada Language and Rajyotsava Day in celebration of the cultural heritage, diversity, and contributions of the Kannadiga community in our Township and our State. The Proclamation notes, "On November 1, 1956, the State of Karnataka in South India was formed, and each year this day is celebrated as Kannada Rajyotsava, a public holiday dedicated to the unity of Kannada-speaking or Kannadiga-people. As one of the oldest languages that is still spoken today, Kannada has unique etymological formations and is the language of culturally significant literature and inscriptions dating back thousands of years". The Mayoral Proclamation continues, "The Kannadiga community has contributed significantly to the social, economic and cultural fabric of our community, and stands as a testament to the diversity and inclusivity that defines East Windsor Township and the State of New Jersey".

  6. East Windsor Will Hold Free Rabies Clinics for dog and cat owners on Saturday, November 2 from 1 P.M to 3 P.M. at East Windsor Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 (51 One Mile Road) and on Saturday, November 9 from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M. at East Windsor Volunteer Fire Company No. 2 (69 Twin Rivers Drive). Owners will be required to show a certificate of previous rabies vaccination to receive vaccination of a three-year duration; otherwise vaccinations of one-year duration only will be provided.   7. East Windsor Township Encourages Residents to Support and Participate in Womanspace "Communities of Light" Scheduled for Monday, December 2. Citizens and businesses can participate and support Womanspace by purchasing candles, bringing the luminary kits and gathering with local elected officials and police on Monday, December 2 at 5 P.M. to light up the East Windsor Municipal Building. Luminary kits, containing six candles each, can be purchased for $10 at any time at the East Windsor Police/Court Building (80 One Mile Road). All proceeds will go 100% directly to Womanspace, the primary Mercer County organization providing a comprehensive array of services to individuals and families impacted by domestic violence and is dedicated to improving the quality of life of abuse victims and their families.   8. East Windsor "Operation Medicine Cabinet" Held on Saturday, October 26 Collected 24 Additional Pounds, Resulting in a Total of 249 Pounds of unused and expired prescription medications. These medications then were turned over to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration. "Operation Medicine Cabinet" provides a secure and legal means to dispose of these prescription medications in an environmentally responsible manner and reduces possible access by unauthorized persons and young people to these drugs. The Township maintains a year-round 24/7 accessible permanent medicine drop box in the lobby of the police/court building.
  9. East Windsor Municipal Utilities Authority (EWMUA) Is Conducting Semi-Annual Hydrant Flushing to remove sediment from pipes, monitor water flows and pressures, and provide visual inspection of the hydrants during the hours between 9 A.M. and 3:30 P.M. on the following dates: This schedule is subject to change due to conflicting work that must be done by EWMUA personnel. According to the EWMUA, customers may notice a drop in water pressure or may experience discolored water. At no time will the water quality be compromised, and the water is safe to use.     • October 28 through November 1: Hickory Acres, Brooktree area, Renaissance Estates, Princeton East, Oak Creek Estates, Riviera, neighborhoods along Dutch Neck Road, One Mile Road and sections of Route 130.
