  3. QTS Data Centers, a Leading Provider of Data Center Solutions, Holds Topping Out Ceremony at Their East Windsor Location on Princeton-Hightstown Road. Mayor Janice S. Mironov and Deputy Mayor David Russell and Council Members Johnnie Whittington and John Zoller joined QTS executives and construction workers for the “Topping Out” milestone for their construction at the QTS Data Center site in East Windsor Township. The event marked the installation of the final metal beam on the first stage of the QTS multi-phase upgrade and expansion of its East Windsor complex. QTS is a leading provider of data center solutions whose goal is to deliver secure, compliant infrastructure solutions, enhanced connectivity and outstanding service to government entities and high-tech business platforms. Network providers served by QTS include AT&T, Comcast, Crown Castle and Verizon Business. QTS Data Centers, housed on a 194-acre campus formerly occupied by McGraw-Hill, plans for 554,000 square feet of total space in newer modernized facilities. HITT Contracting Inc. is performing the demolition and upgrading work for the facility. QTS projects that the first phase of the project will be ready for operation in February 2025, with the completion scheduled for April 2025, followed by further phases.

  4. East Windsor Is Inviting Residents to Apply for Home Improvement Funds Pursuant to the Township Small Cities Housing Rehabilitation Grant Program. Funded by a $195,551 Small Cities Community Development Block Grant from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, funds are provided as a no interest deferred loan, for eligible improvements and homeowners. The amount is not due or payable until sale or transfer of title and only for the exact amount. There is no cost to apply. Residents who are income eligible can receive up to $25,000 under this program for needed home improvement work such as roofs, foundations, heating, plumbing and electrical systems, and lead based paint hazard remediation.   5. East Windsor Will Hold Free Rabies Clinics for dog and cat owners on Saturday, November 9 from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M. at East Windsor Volunteer Fire Company No. 2 (69 Twin Rivers Drive). Owners will be required to show a certificate of previous rabies vaccination to receive vaccination of a three-year duration; otherwise vaccinations of one-year duration only will be provided.   6. East Windsor Township Encourages Residents to Support and Participate in Womanspace "Communities of Light" Scheduled for Monday, December 2. Citizens and businesses can participate and support Womanspace by purchasing candles, bringing the luminary kits and gathering with local elected officials and police on Monday, December 2 at 5 P.M. to light up the East Windsor Municipal Building. Luminary kits, containing six candles each, can be purchased for $10 at any time at the East Windsor Police/Court Building (80 One Mile Road). All proceeds will go 100% directly to Womanspace, the primary Mercer County organization providing a comprehensive array of services to individuals and families impacted by domestic violence and is dedicated to improving the quality of life of abuse victims and their families.
