WAREHOUSE ALERT IN WEST WINDSOR!

JOIN EAST WINDSOR OFFICIALS AND WEST WINDSOR CITIZENS IN OPPOSING WEST WINDSOR TRUCKING WAREHOUSE PROJECT.

Write the Mercer County Commissioners to express your concerns about stormwater, flooding, trucks, Route 571. Email to jcimino@mercercounty.org with copy to jworthy@mercercounty.org, or Mail to 640 South Broad Street, P.O. Box 8068, Trenton, NJ 08611

West Windsor officials approved a 326,000 square foot warehouse with 60 truck bays on spec at 399 Princeton Hightstown Road (Route 571), on the East Windsor border and just east of the McCaffrey's Shopping Center. Extensive issues have been raised about stormwater design and flooding, extensive tractor trailer traffic at all hours, zoning and adverse environmental impacts. This ill-advised project inexplicably dumped in the midst of highly travelled Route 571 could have dramatic impacts on our municipality and region.

East Windsor Mayor and Council, like large numbers of West Windsor residents and groups, strongly opposes this West Windsor approved 60 bay truck generating warehouse -- and seeks your help.

NOTE. There are no trucking facilities in East Windsor along Princeton Hightstown Road. All of the large buildings are high tech, research and development, and pharmaceutical companies, including Aurobindo Pharma at Old Trenton Road and the newer Innovation Park complex. These companies comprise the prestigious East Windsor Einstein’s Alley corridor

NOTE. East Windsor, and other officials around Mercer County, have spoken directly with West Windsor mayor and council members, attended a public West Windsor Council meeting, plus have spoken with residents of both communities, the county planning board and with project representatives – all to express our strong opposition to this ill-advised trucking project and ask how we could all work together to change this plan.

The developer proceeded to strip 399 Princeton Hightstown Road, while awaiting all final project approvals.

The subject property location is noted in purple outline.
