  1. East Windsor Mayor and Council Members Host New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission Mobile Unit at Senior Center (40 Lanning Boulevard) on February 10, 11 and 12 from 9 A.M. to 3 P.M. The MVC mobile unit provides East Windsor residents the convenient opportunity to obtain a REAL ID license, which commencing May 7, 2025 will be required to fly within the United States if you typically use a driver's license. Otherwise, you will need to use a valid U.S. passport or another federally approved form of identification. The MVC mobile unit will perform several routine MVC services for residents, such as vehicle registration renewal and vehicle registration or title duplicate/replacement. An APPOINTMENT IS REQUIRED for these services; for information on required documents to bring and available appointments (CLICK HERE). Other services will be available without appointment for walk-up's, specifically, applying for handicapped veterans or purple heart placards, surrendering license plates, and purchasing red GDL decals.
  2. COVID-19 Tests Are Available to All U.S. Households for Free. Every U.S. household is eligible to order 4 free at-home COVID-19 tests, shipped at no cost. COVID-19 testing can help you know if you have COVID-19 so you can decide what to do next, whether to get treatment to reduce your risk of severe illness and taking steps to lower your chances of spreading the virus to others.   3. REMINDER: East Windsor Dog Owners Must Obtain or Renew Licenses by January 31. All dogs seven months of age and older are required to be licensed. An additional late fee of $1.00 per month will apply commencing February 1. Rabies vaccination must be valid through October 31, 2025 to obtain a 2025 dog license. Dog License applications are available from the Municipal Clerk’s Office or the Township website (CLICK HERE).   4. East Windsor Township 2025 New Year's Food Drive Continues through January 31, 2025. Mayor Janice S. Mironov and Council Members are asking area residents and businesses to drop off donated non-perishable food items at the East Windsor Municipal Building (16 Lanning Boulevard) during business hours, the East Windsor Police/Court Building (80 One Mile Road) 24/7, or at East Windsor Volunteer Fire Company No. 2 (69 Twin Rivers Drive). The food drive will benefit the food pantry of RISE, an area-based organization that provides assistance to local individuals and families.
