  1. East Windsor Recreation Department Is Accepting Applications for 2025 Summer Camp Positions. The positions include camp supervisors, camp counselors and before and after care camp staff. Applications can be obtained by contacting the Township Recreation Department at (609) 443-4000, ext. 414 or online at (CLICK HERE). Individuals 18 years and older will be subject to a background check. Applications will be accepted until positions are filled.
  2. East Windsor Township and the NJ League of Municipalities Are Offering Scholarship Opportunities to Junior and Senior High School Students. This statewide scholarship competition requires submitting an essay on the theme "What I Like About My Hometown" and seeks to advance the virtues of elected and volunteer members of the municipal government, while raising awareness of municipal government in general. The State League Scholarship Committee will select three $1,000 scholarships statewide through the Louis Bay 2nd Future Municipal Leaders Scholarship Competition and 15 finalists. All entries must be returned to the East Windsor Mayor's Office by Wednesday, March 5.
  3. Mercer County Is Presenting Two New Small Business Support Grant Programs, the Revitalize and Grow Grant and the Business Builder Rebate Grant. The Revitalize and Grow Grant and the Business Builder Rebate Grant programs, launched January 1, 2025 and funded by $1,000,000 American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds, offer assistance to Mercer County small businesses, with deadline target of November 30, 2025 to provide funds. The Revitalize and Grow Grant is designed to provide Mercer County small business grants for signage and façade improvements. Signage improvement grants are capped at $10,000 per year per project, and facade improvement grants are capped at $30,000 per year per project, with 100% of funds provided up front to eligible applicants proposing eligible work. The Business Builder Rebate Grant provides rebates to eligible Mercer County businesses for services and supplies, such as accounting or bookkeeping software, office supplies and website development.   4. LAST CALL: East Windsor Township 2025 New Year's Food Drive Continues. Mayor Janice S. Mironov and Council Members are asking area residents and businesses to drop off donated non-perishable food items at the East Windsor Municipal Building (16 Lanning Boulevard) during business hours, the East Windsor Police/Court Building (80 One Mile Road) 24/7, or at East Windsor Volunteer Fire Company No. 2 (69 Twin Rivers Drive). The food drive will benefit the food pantry of RISE, an area-based organization that provides assistance to local individuals and families.
  5. ALERT: The NJ Motor Vehicle Commission Has Confirmed that All Appointments for the MVC Mobile Unit at the East Windsor Senior Center on February 10, 11 and 12 Have Been Filled and There Are No More Available Appointments for those Dates. The daily 9 A.M. to 3 P.M. time frame enabled a total of 72 appointments for each day (a total of 216 slots for the three-day period), and the appointments were filled within 24 hours of the link opening!! In light of the incredible interest and desire for this service locally, East Windsor Township immediately reached out to the Motor Vehicle Commission to provide for future local dates to host the mobile vehicle for REAL ID and other services.
